GRATITUDE TO OUR GRACIOUS GOD
Now all glory to God, Who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT)
God provides so much to us, which should lead us to a place of gratefulness. He gave us the Word and the Spirit. How amazing! As we look at these great gifts, we should all show gratitude to God for them because He certainly didn’t have to give them to us. Through His grace and love, we can receive and use these in our lives.
Billy Graham said A spirit of thankfulness is one of the most distinctive marks of a Christian whose heart is attuned to the Lord.
Thankfulness should flow from us if we're genuinely tapped into His power and Word.
APPLICATION:
As you read these verses, stop and think of ways God has blessed you. Write them down and then thank God for each one.
PRAYER:
Abba Father,
I want to say thank You. Thank You for sending Your Son to earth to die for us. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to us. Thank You for loving us so much and giving us grace. Please help me remember to praise You always.
